Question by redrukie: What are the best vitamins in terms of how much the body absorbs?
I’ve heard that most vitamins pass right through the body, without being absorbed. If I’m going to take vitamins, I want them to be effective by being absorbed as close to 100% as possible. Are there any studies that show which brand of vitamins the body absorbs most efficiently?
I don’t think I worded my question precisely. I didn’t mean vitamins from foods, I meant vitamin supplements. Sorry about that…

You heard wrong.
First, fruits and vegetables are your best sources of vitamins.
Vitamins are either water soluble (Vitamin C) or fat soluble (Vitamin E).
Water soluble vitamins are peed out, once the body gets what it needs.
Fat soluble vitamins are stored in the body.

Im looking for vitamins that will help make skin stronger, thicker, and produce more collagen. I get stretchmarks and acne, and I know theres something that I could benefit from in a vitamin. I already take a multi, but I want to hear from someone thats educated in vitamins/ health. Thanks!

The best way to make your skin healthy is to drink a lot of water, and get plenty of rest! Eat fruits and veggies, get some excercise each day and you will be beautiful!

Question by Ellie: What is the best vitamins to help hair grow stronger and longer faster?
What is the best vitamin out of vitamin B, vitamin B-3, Biotin, vitamin B-6, vitamin B-12, Biotin and Niacin? I want my hair to grow longer. I have heaps of split ends and I haven’t used the straightner in 6 weeks and during that period of time I’ve had to have my hair trim 3 times. Any ideas which of the above vitamins would help the best?
